Do you have an idea you would like to make into a wonderful collection of fabric in a quilt? Have you found some fabric that you’re in love with, and would like to turn into a quilt for your bed? Or maybe a little one is on the way, and you want a custom baby quilt? With our custom quilts, we will work with you to design and create the custom quilt to make your dream come true.

The idea is simple: we take your idea and turn it into a keepsake quilt you can enjoy every day. You can provide the fabric, the idea, or clothing and we will create a finished quilt for you. That can be as basic as us creating a throw quilt from a few large pieces of fabric or as complex as turning a collection of clothing or fabric into a custom quilt.

Custom Quilts: How It Works

First, we will discuss your idea and identify any materials you already have (for example: button-down shirts, uniforms, suit jackets or fabric), tell us your ideas and share any pictures you have of your idea, these help a lot. We will offer our advice and ideas. We agree on a general plan, give an estimate of the final cost which will likely be a range, and you provide a deposit and order form detailing our initial plan.

We will create a final design and get to work. How long the final design phase will take depends on the complexity. We will work to determine materials that have been provided will cover what is needed to complete the quilt. We may make some recomendaions on additional materials as a final design is completed.

Once the design is agreed to and all of the materials are in hand we will begin cutting the fabric as we begin the creation of your quilt.

The fabric will be sewn together according to the pattern and agreed on design.

One the top is pieced and is complete the top, batting and back are loaded onto the longarm and then quiled.

Bindig will machine sewn to the back of the quilt then turned and sewn to the front of the quilt by machine to complete your heirloom.

Once the quilt is done you will be notified and it will be shipped to you.
