🔲 Checkerboard Design: Our checkerboard design turns your beloved T-shirts into a harmonious tapestry of memories with 2-inch sashing between the T-shirt blocks and 2-inch cornerstones.
🔲Mosaic Design: Our mosaic design turns utilizes a design specific to your T-Shirts and the size of each logo and the overall size you want to achieve. This is the go-to design when logos are not a consistent size and/or you are not interested in a checkerboard look and feel.
🔲Stained Glass Design: Our stained glass design turns your beloved T-shirts into a wonderful patchwork reminiscent of a stained glass window with narrow black stripes between each of your blocks. This is a great design when your logos are different sizes and you want to set them off.
Can I use the front and back of a shirt?
Yes, you can use the front, back, or both sides of a single shirt for your t shirt quilt. If you have an image/logo on both the front and the back and just want to use one please use blue painter's tape and put an “X” on the one you don’t want to use.
How long will it take to make my quilt?
We can usually ship your T-shirt quilt back to you within six to eight weeks of receiving your t-shirts. Graduation and Christmas orders may take a little longer, so be sure to leave some wiggle room or ask us about guaranteed delivery during those seasons. Rush orders are also available, if this is needed please call us to discuss.
Can I use materials such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, golf shirts, jerseys, tank tops, etc?
Yes, all can be incorporated into your quilt, almost any clothing material in your t shirt quilt is possible. We apply stabilizer to the back of the material which allows us to work with a variety of materials and they will stand up to time in your quilt.
Can I send you the fabric I want for the back of my quilt?
We pride ourselves on completing your quilt the way you want it. If you prefer a custom color, you can certainly provide that material. We can accept any cotton material as backing for your T-shirt quilt. Please contact us if you are interested in sending in material and we can let you know how much will be needed.
Do you make traditional quilts or blankets?
The quilt top is stitched to the batting and backing using a professional longarm quilting machine making this a traditional quilt. Then the outside edge of the T-shirt quilt will be bound in order to ensure stability and ensure that the quilt lasts for many, many years to come! Because we professional quilt the layers together the top, batting and backing of the quilt stay together and stand up to the test of time. You will find cheeper blanket style quilts but over time the batting will bunch up and they will become lumpy and not stand up to years of use.
Do I cut my own shirts before I send them in?
NO We do all the hard work for you so you can sit back and relax. Please send in your entire shirt and we will do the cutting and sewing for you here.
How are my shirts cut?
We offer either 12″ finished squares for the checkerboard design and varies with the mosaic design. The T-Shirts are cut apart and stabization is added the back of each shirt fabric. We then cut the T-Shirt down to the proper size.
